The Swing

For as long as I can remember, the front porch swing has been the center of all holidays, family gatherings, birthday parties and so on. We would all gather just to sit on the porch and chat the day away and sometimes we would even chat into the wee hours of the morning. The thing that I remember most is the way momma would always take the grand kids and swing them in her lap while singing such songs as Little Bonnie Foo Foo, May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose, Row Your Boat and so on......Now that Jacob and Lilly are here, she is beginning her tradition all over again

Jacob loves his Mmammie and his mammie loves him to pieces

and at the end of a long day, there is no place Jacob would rather be than on his Mammie's front porch swing

But as you can see from the pictures below, Jacob is not the only one who loves the front porch swing
