Jacob and Conner at Waldo's Beach

Sunday we went to White Lake but they were closed so we traveled over to Hope Mills to Waldo's Beach...it was nice and we had a good time but there really wasn't much for the boys to play on, though we all still had a great time....

.........and when we got home, the boys had their bath and spent the rest of the evening playing...that is until they wore themselves out and fell asleep for the night

Well, after Irene left us, Kelly and Connor came over and decided to spend the night again. Jacob was happy as you can tell. Thes two little ones have the best time when they are together.

Hurricane Party on Eisenhower Street 8-26-2011

Hurricane Irene seemed to be as good a reason as any to have a family get-together and so that is exactly what we did......we got together and had chicken-bog and Lizzie cooked some delicious home made brownies and we added alittle ice cream and chocolate syrup to the mix.........we had a good time. Jacob's Play Date Weekend with Connor

Connor and Kelly came over Saturday night and spent the night and we went to the lake yesterday. The boys had a blast. It was good to see them and spend some quality time together. Not much else needs to be said here except that the boys had a good time together.

In the end, the boys had so much fun, that when we dried them off, put their clothes back on, put them in their carseats, they were both sound asleep before we got out of the parking lot and Jacob slept for 2 hours after we got home..............we all took a nap when we got home.......
