Jacob, Bathtime and Bedtime

There are two things that jacob really loves, it is his big boy bed and any chance he can get to wash, he is soooo OCD when it comes to washing. Gotta love it though and God knows, we sure love him.

Baby Emma and Laura came for a short visit today and we are in love with her all ready. Jacob was alittle jealous at first but then he wanted to hold her and give her her pappy. I hope thye can come again really soon and stay longer. Thanks for the visit Laura, hope she can wear her outfits.

RIP - Bobby Gene Lawson

Last week, my daughter's father, Bobby Gene Lawson, lost his battle with lung disease. He was 73 years old. His eldest son, Mike, wrote his eulogy and I must say, it was beautifully written. He was a good father, never once missing a child support payment nor was he ever late with one. He and Elizabeth developed a close relationship in the last few years of his life and he loved baby Jacob to pieces. He was a good brother, a hard worker and will be missed by many. He took my son in when he was very small and my son knew him as father also. Mike made sure that my son was also included in the eulogy. He accepted the Lord and his savior after our divorce so we who know the Lord as our savior will meet him again one day. Though we were married only a few years, we became better friends later in life and he will be missed by all who really knew him.
