Aunt Fannie strikes again

well, Jamie came over tonight to play with Jacob and in the process of putting him up on her shoulders, clunked his head into the celling fan (AGAIN). Not quite sure what it is about Jamie, now known as Aunt Fannie, Jacob and the ceiling fan but there is certainly an attraction between the three of them.....lol....PS...he is fine Aunt Fannie

Weekend in Charlotte

We all went to my brother Philip's place in Charlotte for the weekend and had a good time. Philip baked Lizzie a birthday cake which he surprized her with since he will not be able to be with her on her 18th birthday and then Jacob got a new basket for all of his toys............



Granny and Jacob

My grandson, Jacob, is the apple of my eye. Every day, I pick him up from daycare and from that point on, he is my shadow until his mommy puts him to bed. This is just one of those days when he was overly clingy and didn't care where I sat, or where he sat, as long as he was at my side

 Jacob was giving granny a head massage and it was feeling good too...look out Aunt Keisha, you might have some competition here.................

 he seemed to be hitting the bottle pretty hard here, I was trying to talk him through it.......lol

 and here he finally started to wind down...........or so I thought........this was the beginning of a new game for him...lol

but in the end, it was all about the two of us.......as it should be

This is Granny's baby boy......and we share our own special bond like none other...my joy, my heart

Cracker Barrel with Jacob

Elizabeth, Jamie and I went to eat supper at the Cracker Barrel last night and Jacob had his first encounter with crayons. Take a look........

his excitement was uncontrollable and he never once put the crayons in his mouth. He is such a clown....since his Uncle James cut his hair the other night, he looks like a big boy now

Duke/Carolina

Well, here is the age old story of our family....some of us are Duke fans and some of us are Carolina fans....but what do you call it when you have a DIE HARD Carolina fan that it loving all over someone wearing Duke.......Ummmm.....I call it a very good choice............Here's to you Jodie
