Band of Oz and Alive Alive After Five

Aunt Jamie and Uncle Ricky love spending time with me because I am their "perfect little angel"

 Here we are listening to the Band of Oz belt out a good ole tune.....

 .........and here we see Lumberton City PD at their finest...fitting right in with the crowd....

 and still we dance........

 and the band plays on into the night.......and at the end of the night... a good time was had by all........



Jacob and PB&J

Today was Jacob's first experience with peanutbutter and jelly and let me just say, he fell in love with it.

He ate a whole sandwich and loved every bite of it. I can't wait until he is able to eat whole foods. I know we shouldn't rush these things but he is in the place where he doesn't like the babyfood yet is still to small to swallow the table food. He will get there eventually I know, but I hate to see him want something that he is still too small to eat. PB&J sure is a good way to start if you ask me. 

To my wonderful sisters

I have three of the best sisters in the world...each unique in their own way.....

My sister, Jamie and I, have had our ups and downs through life, but through it all have managed to become best of friends....she loves my grandson as if her were her own, and she loves his mommy, Lizzie and helps her out with anything that she can. We both love the beach and look forward to the end of each day so that we can spend time with our Jacob. He loves his Aunt Fannie and looks forward to her visits as do I.  I love you sis.

This is my sister, Jodie, myself and my sister Jamie. Jodie, I love you with all of my heart. I look forward to getting on facebook each day just to see what "words of wisdom" you have for me each morning and a lot have meaning but some are just down right hilarious. Jodie, you have had some trials to deal with in the past year and I love to see the direction you seem to be headed in. Through all these trials, you seem to maintain your smile, sense of humor and wit. Keep them intact girl, eventually you will overcome. I love you.

My sister Jodie and My son, James, best friends always.

My sister, Becky and I, have been together the longest. There are 13 months, 17 days between us . We have an extraordinary relationship. We are the travelers of the family. We will jump in the car and drive to Savanna to see a Broadway musical, take a trip to the beach, hop in the car for dinner and a concert and just meet for lunch to chat the hour away. Becky is a really serious person, straight to the point, what you see is what you get type of person. You always know where you stand with her. But.....as you can see in the picture below...she also knows how to clown around and we have fun together.

When you have such wonderful, beautiful, loving sisters, and I have, how could you count yourself anything but blessed. I know how lucky I am to have these three women in my life...and I look forward to all of the adventures yet to come with each and everyone of them

My Beautiful Pumpkins



Here you see my two big pumpkins, my son, James and my daughter Lizzie. They are the best thing I have ever done and I love them with all my heart.



This is my baby pumpkin. His name is Jacob and he is my first grandchild. Love of a grandchild is totally unbelieveable. My children are my heart but he adds the soul to heart and soul. Everyone should experience being a grandparent at some point in thier life. It's amazing   

Saturday Night with My Sisters

Last Saturday night, my sisters Becky & Jamie and I went to Fayetteville to see Kenny G and Michael Bolton in concert. We had the best time and I got both autographs and Shook Michael Bolton's hand during the concert. Check out these pictures below.......
