Santa is always watching

Jacob is 16 months old now and just like last year, is not afraid of Santa at all. He is a brave little one and I look at him in this picture and he seems so big and grown up but in all truthfulness, he wore this very same outfit last year to get his picture taken with Santa. Adorable then, adorable now....life is good

As I was sitting at the computer tonight before bed, I happened to check my facebook page and below is a little inbox message that my daughter, Elizabeth, sent to me out of the blue....this is the unconditional love of a child........

"You are the most beautiful Mom in the world. I don't tell you often enuf just how much I love & appreciate you. When I grow up, I want to be just like you mommy. Kisses"

Doesn't it just melt your heart. Unconditional, no strings attached love....what a way to end the day. This is what life is truly all about.

Poor Jacob

Our poor little Jacob has been sick since Saturday and we took him to the doctor today. Along with three new teeth came an inner ear infection, hand foot and mouth virus and thrush. Our little fellow is not a happy camper......

 you know he is feeling bad when you can't get a smile from him in the tub, his favorite place in the world is the water

 and he is so exhausted from not sleeping that when he finally shuts his eyes, you hate to move, let alone breath for fear of waking him

Thanks to Aunt Fannie, we finally got his meds and started administering them. Hopefully he will have a better night

Halloween Spirit

Elizabeth has become very domestic lately, cooking, cleaning, caring for Jacob, and with my stress levels at an all time high these days, she does what she can to lighten the load. She has decided to make cakes for the holidays and I just have to show you her first attempt.

She is very excited about this cake and she put alot into it. Love you Lizzie

Last night, Conner and Jacob played together until they were both exhausted and then fell asleep at the same time. Kelly decided to spend the night so we put the babies in the crib together and they looked so sweet that I couldn't resist a few shots...you know how grandmother's are............

Fall and it's changes

With the onset of fall, wonderful colors explode anew with excitement as the fall and winter holidays approach. We bought the boys some matching outfits and they looked so adorable that of course, I had to post a few of them. Enjoy!



Happy 18th Birthday Parker

Well, it's official, today Parker is 18. He and Elizabeth are legal now (as they like to point out) Saturday we had their 18th birthday party and all I can think is...where has the time gone......I love you Parker and am proud of where you are headed in lfe.
